Volunteer Training

Family Financial Academy
Comprehensive Financial Management Training, a 9-week financial literacy training course will begin in February 2008. For registration and details please contact Shavon Daise or Takeshia Banks

Parent Education
Parent’s Night Out, funded by the Children’s Trust Fund, is a fun way for parents to learn better strategies for parenting in a nurturing environment.

Mini-Workshop designed to support your parenting efforts are also offered. These classes discuss various topics relevant to healthy child rearing.

ESL Tutoring
In partnership with Washtenaw Literacy, POWER Inc offers English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring classes for adults. Classes are held weekly at POWER, and designed to provide practical help to adults in developing proficiency at reading and speaking the language.
