Volunteer Your Time & Talents

There are many ways you can help support the programs of POWER through volunteering your time and talents.  Examples of volunteer activities include:

  1. Administrative support: Direct service with families
  2. IT support: Fund Development

Completed applications may be scanned and emailed to volunteer@powerclf.org, ATTN: Renette Hicks, Volunteer Coordinator. Or you can return the application in person at POWER office.

  • $10 helps purchase light snacks for our financial literacy workshop
  • $20 helps to secure a credit report for a family seeking to get out of debt
  • $50 helps purchase a monthly bus pass to help a client get to work
  • $100 helps a family of 4 buy emergency groceries
  • $250 helps secure 10 therapy sessions for a low-income family
  • $500 helps 4 low-income families access emergency funds to prevent eviction, or utility shut off
  • $1,000.00 helps 1 homeless family with move-in costs (security deposit, first month’s rent, moving van)
