Foster Parent / Volunteer Recruitment

Can you love a child and help them to grow? Are you willing to open your home to a child in need?

Foster parenting may be for you!  Contact our offices to find out more about being a foster parent for children from Washtenaw County.

Have some time to volunteer and want to help families?

The Foster Parent/Volunteer Recruitment program is a program funded by the Department of Human Services, and designed to identify potential families who could provide foster or respite care to children unable to return home.  There is a specific need for those whoa re willing to take sibling groups and older children.  Those who want to help but are not able to make a foster  care commitment may be able to provide support in other ways, by volunteering their time to support a foster family or foster child.
